ABOUT THE POSITION
As an electrical engineer, you will work with analysis and calculations related to main circuits in power systems. The job involves assessing and optimizing reactive and active power, voltages, losses, and power exchange under different operating conditions. You will use both our client's own and new online-based tools for technical calculations – a step away from Excel and Matlab to more integrated system solutions that encompass the entire organization. You will be part of a global technology company with a strong local presence, where advanced power technology is developed for projects all over the world. Here, you will work in a technically leading environment with high competence and a strong culture of innovation.
An important part of the job is to develop and update extensive documentation regarding operating conditions and how a large-scale facility operates. You will also contribute to studies in areas such as short-circuit analysis and current loading. The position involves close collaboration with other technical departments and functions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities
- Perform technical calculations of currents, voltages, power flows, and losses in main circuits
- Conduct short-circuit analyses and provide documentation for protection settings
- Participate in the development and updating of documentation regarding operating conditions and facility operations
- Collaborate with other technical areas to ensure a comprehensive solution in projects
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Has a master's or bachelor's degree in electrical power, energy, electrical engineering, or equivalent
- Has a good ability to document technical solutions clearly
- Fluently speaks and writes in both Swedish and English as both languages are used daily
- Can be on-site in Ludvika as the position is on-site
It is an advantage if you have previous experience in electrical power.
